JOB DESCRIPTION
Our dynamic Finance and Accounting team is looking to add a Financial Reporting Special to our group. As the Financial Accounting Specialist, you will lead the government reporting requirements, preparing miscellaneous government agency reports and file with agencies in accordance with scheduled due dates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments throughout the organization to obtain data needed for reporting
- Maintain procedures to capture data timely and accurately and retain workpapers to support filings
- Administer intercompany services billing process through monthly invoicing of support services
- Assist in performing general accounting support and research
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required, with a major in accounting or finance
- Advanced degree is a plus
- CPA preferred
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of financial/accounting experience (combination of public and industry experience preferred)
- Must be able to provide accounting support and offer problem solving related to financial accounting
- Overtime is required during peak periods throughout the year
